CPCS Renewal
The CPCS, or Construction Plant Competence Scheme, is an initiative designed to support workers operating in the plant industry. Ownership of a card demonstrates that you’re proficient in completing tasks associated with a specific discipline or occupation. The CPCS card programme is a trade-specific extension of the CSCS card initiative.

Who these courses are for
This course is for operatives/skilled workers looking to obtain or renew their blue CSCS card. You will require the relevant qualification alongside a CITB Operatives test pass to apply for your card. Contact us for more assistance or information.
Delivery
The renewal test is split into test modules. Each module has 15 randomly selected multiple-choice questions, which need to be answered within 15 minutes. Each module is CPCS plant specific and the questions are based on a range of topics and key knowledge expected of experienced plant operators. Upon arrival at the test centre, you will be registered and admitted for the test. You will be required to leave all personal items in lockers provided. Once the nececessary checks have been made you will be allowed to enter the test room and begin.

Certification
Once you have passed your Renewal Test(s) you can apply to renew your CPCS Blue Competent Operator card, as long as all other renewal requirements have been met. You can apply to renew your card even if you have not passed all of your renewal tests.
